This Device Makes Any Beer a Draft Beer
There is nothing quite like the taste of beer on tap, but with more and more microbreweries popping up all over the country, craft beers are so much more easily available in cans, bottles, and growlers. So how to achieve that draft beer taste? Well, Fizzics let me test out their new draft beer system, and I have to say that I think they’ve definitely figured something out. Aside from having the technology that actually makes your beer taste better, the appliance is sleek enough to fit in at home and small enough to travel. Watch the video below to see it in action and let me know what you think in the comments!

The Backstory
The conversation between the now CEO and CTO began over — you guessed it — beers. Curious as to why beer on tap tastes so much better than beer from a bottle, growler, or can, they embarked upon what would become a year of research, development, and the eventual creation of their patented Micro-Foam technology. After a successful Kickstarter campaign and even a feature on ABC’s Shark Tank, Fizzics is now available to the masses!
How It Works
While the original Fizzics is larger (and even has a canister designed as an insulator to keep the beer cold!) the second iteration, the smaller Waytap system, works with 12 to 25 ounce cans and 12 ounce bottles and is more portable than ever. Simply insert your beer, lock into place, tap the beer by pulling the lever forward, and push it back to get that classic foam head we all know and love. Or, in their words, “convert natural carbonation into densely compacted uniform bubbles to create a rich, creamy head.” Sounds nice, right? Cleaning it out is just as easy as pouring the beer — just replace the bottle with a glass of water.
Perfect For
Any beer lover — but that’s obvious. I think it’s fair to say that Fizzics could convert even an occasional beer drinker to a regular. But you don’t have to be an aficionado to use it. It’s easy to set up, easy to use, easy to clean, and it makes the beer even easier to drink. Best of all, it won’t be some eyesore that takes up your entire kitchen counter. And that’s something we can all say cheers to!
