Lindsey Buckingham’s ‘Palace’ That Fleetwood Mac Built Is For Sale
Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham might just be turning into as legendary a real estate flipper as he is a contributor to the annals of rock n’ roll. After purchasing a massive estate in Los Angeles for $5.8 million in December 2013, The Los Angeles Times reports the hall of fame guitarist just relisted it for sale for a whopping $22.5 million — including a completely new build.
After taking it off the market for six months, Buckingham has relisted the palatial Brentwood property including a classic Georgian-style main house and guest house for a whopping 11,000 total square feet of living and entertaining space — which The Real Deal calculates is $2,045 per square foot.
The traditionally styled exterior features natural wood shingles and white trim, complemented by nearly three-quarters of an acre of mature and highly manicured lawns and landscaping, looking every bit Hamptons in Hollywood.
The main house features six bedrooms, ten bathrooms, a tiered screening room, a library, a “spa room” complete with a pair of massage tables, and a three-car garage. Carrera marble finishes are carried throughout the home, from the waterfall countertops on the living room bar and main chef’s kitchen island to the many fireplace surrounds and en-suite soaking tubs.
Outdoors, the masterly entertaining areas flow out to a patio with a classic pergola covering a dining area and fire pit, then the swimming pool (with its built-in hot tub), and a pool house on the other end.
