Chances are, you’ve heard about the buzzy new streaming service app, Quibi. Quibi, which just launched April 6, offers 50+ shows, each less than 10 minutes long per episode. One of those shows is called “Flipped,” an HGTV-inspired comedy that follows Jann and Cricket Melfi (played by Will Forte and Kaitlin Olsen).

After learning about a home renovation contest to become the “Next Dynamic Duo” (think Chip and Joanna Gaines or the Property Brothers), Jann and Cricket are determined to win and become the Next Big Thing. So they start to work on a fixer-upper and accidentally hammer into a huge stash of cash that’s been hidden away between the walls.

Pro-tip: If there’s anything I learned from “Breaking Bad” or “Ozark,” it’s that if you come across half a million dollars in cash, run away from it—as fast as you can. That amount of cash has most definitely not been accounted for by the IRS, and the Feds will be on your tail if you start making big purchases by pulling out large wads of cash from your purse. But since this is a show, we’ll just go with what happens next.

Jann and Cricket take that cash and invest in their own glamorous home renovation series. All is going well until the owner of the drug money finds them. The drug cartel leader, played by Arturo Castro, informs them that now he has no choice but to murder them. Their own saving grace is that he actually really digs how they renovated his stash house.

“You steal half a million dollars from my stash house…and you made it into paradise. That’s how you’re going to pay me back the money you stole: You’re going to renovate my house!” Castro’s character cheerfully informs them, showing them his opulent drug mansion.

But it doesn’t just stop there. Soon, once the cartel learns of this talented duo, every drug kingpin (including Andy Garcia’s character, Rumualdo) wants their home jazzed up by Jann and Cricket. It may not be the home renovation show they always dreamed of producing (and forget scoring a Target collab), but Jann and Cricket may earn notoriety in their own way.
