flipSYNC: The Swiss Army Knife of USB Connectors

Technology on our keys are in no shortage these days, including a tracker to help find your keys and key-shaped flash drives, but it takes a true utilitarian to whip out a keychain USB/Dock cable that transforms from a capsule into a complete charging station for your portable electronics.

Scosche's flipSYNC easily cracks open and provides two plugs, one for the computer, one for your iPhone (or other electronic device), depending on the model you get. For the iPhone version, you have Apple's proprietary connector on one end, while the other version includes a standard USB connector along with both mini and micro USB plugs, which we assume can be used for portable hard drives as well.

The flipSYNC keychain costs $20, which is a little steep for a simple connector, but if you or someone you know are one of those types who always finds themselves cursing at their iPhone's battery life, this may just be the perfect early birthday present.
