Candles are a staple in our lives for a reason — they’re inexpensive, easy to use and get the job done. Elevate them to the next level by placing them in a glass vessel filled with water and let them float all night. Tall and skinny, short and plump or a simple glass bowl will do the trick! Along with the water, add some cranberries, flowers or greenery to the vessel for an added pop of color.

Mason jars are all the rage right now and floating candles look amazing in them. Line a walk way or a pool with mason jars filled with water and floating candles and you’ll have a super dramatic and beautiful outdoor party!
