For $3,000,000 you can have the Russian Hill penthouse that belongs to San Francisco's major, Gavin Newsom. He purchased the 1,693 square foot condo in 2006 from Peter Getty for $2,350,000. Since then it has been completely remodeled and transformed from a two-bedroom to a one-bedroom luxurious penthouse. Located on Green Street in San Francisco, it offers incredible views of the city and the Bay Area. An ultimate bachelor's pad, but is it worth it at this price tag? Check out more photos after the jump...

The interior feels very polished and classy, but the color scheme is a bit too monochromatic. If you love brown and neutrals this might be your style. We can appreciate the architectural details, arched windows, dark wood floors, and the amazing views. As Lily from 7x7 notes in her story, the condo was stripped and completely remodeled by Michael Agins Interior Design. With declining real estate market, the price has already been reduced from $3,200,000 to $2,995,000. At this price and with $1415/a month HOA dues, is it worth it? What do you think?
