It was really cold this morning and we heard it was snowing in upstate New York this past week. As much as we don't want to admit it, it's getting cold and we've been kicking and screaming with each day, trying not to turn on the heat. We love the few months between the hot and cold months, those temperature inbetween days we can keep our windows open and not dread the monthly energy bill. Here's how to keep that feeling just a tad bit longer.

Re-Nest's 14 Ways to Warm Up Without the Heat On Keeping the heat off as long as possible (to save money) can be as simple as baking something (we used this trick the other night), reversing your fan or even tuck your hands under laptop every once in a while.

The Heat Is On: Modern Patio Heaters Versatile Globe Fireplace by Vauni is a pretty stylish way to stay warm inside. The Globe can also be used outside as a patio heater!

Envi High-Efficiency Electric Panel Heater The panel heater is relatively inexpensive ($107.95) and could save you some serious bucks on your energy bill). It's also super flat, so it's not over obtrusive.

Max electric heater by Swizz Style What a creative and fun looking modern heater! Max can blow cool or heated air into the room and even has a frost setting!

Plus Minus Zero Space Heater: So Cool, They're Hot! Probably the most attractive heater we've seen. The Plus Minus Zero Space Heater would look great in just about anyone's house.

What kind of heater do you use?
