Frame Your Family On Your Kitchen Cabinets

Yesterday we saw china cabinets used to display photos and likewise, we wanted to mention another unusual place to display them — on your kitchen cabinets! This family custom built doors that allows for artwork and photos to slide in and out!

If you haven't had a chance to visit the Choose To Thrive blog, I highly suggest you do. In light of a down-turned economy, layoffs and family struggles, this family has made a commitment to use what they have and "Rock what ya got!" It's always an inspiring place for fun ideas and this photo cabinet idea is a good one.

Instead of purchasing all new cabinet doors, new ones were made that had slits in the side to allow pictures, mats and protective covers to slide right in. Now the doors can be decorated with nothing at all, a full out family facade or even the children's artwork. Even if you weren't into photos, you could still use decorative paper or even stiffened fabric to complete the look. Check out more over at Choose To Thrive to see just how far this kitchen has really been transformed!
