CB2’s Latest Collaboration Is A SoCal Pool Party We’re All Invited To

Few brands exemplify the relaxed-yet-luxe L.A. vibe like Fred Segal. The SoCal-based retailer, which has outfitted everyone from Farrah Fawcett to David Beckham, is now bringing that same aesthetic into our homes. The first Fred Segal x CB2 collaboration was all about the living room and home office. The most recent collection, released today, is taking it outside.

Dubbed the Pool Party Collection, most of the pieces are designed to work either indoors or out. Aiming to give you the “ultimate poolside lounge pad,” everything from couches to coffee tables with cacti flair are designed to stand up to the elements. (Though, if you don’t live somewhere with as much sun as Venice Beach, you may consider also snagging one of the custom-built covers featured in the collection.) Outdoor pillows also feature pops of blue as a nod to Fred Segal’s iconic denim.

In addition to larger furniture pieces, there are some more budget-friendly options ready for a Memorial Day cookout. Melamine plates are an elegant alternative to paper or plastic, and the heavy-duty vintage glassware is perfect for G&Ts or Arnold Palmers. Terrazzo, a trend we’re seeing everywhere, is featured in the serving ware and is designed to match the rest of the collection.

Of course, no pool party is complete these days without Instagram-worthy accessories—namely, the pool float. The rainbow-inspired Love One Another pool float is both a not-s0-subtle nod to Pride and a fun pop of color in an otherwise red, white and blue heavy collection. And speaking of these patriotic hues, the other ultimate accessories—beach towels and Bocce balls—are also decorated in the same vintage-chic Americana vibe.
