Learning to cook and learning a new language are two skills plenty of people dream of adding to their expertise, but both can undoubtedly bring some challenges. That’s why Babbel and HelloFresh are teaming up to make both experiences fun and engaging, offering a free virtual class where attendees can “discover the joys of learning a language through cooking.”

On Friday, August 27, at 12:00 p.m. ET, the beloved meal kit delivery service and the language learning app are teaming up to host a 45-minute Spanish lesson on Facebook Live, which will cover measurements, ingredients, preparation, and food commands and expressions using a real HelloFresh recipe. They’re welcoming speakers and chefs of all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced Spanish speakers.

Those who participate in the live stream event will receive a PDF with the class slides for use during and after class, so you can show off your newfound language and culinary skills again and again after it’s over. Each participant will also be automatically entered in a giveaway for five $60 HelloFresh vouchers for added kitchen inspiration. There’s even more: Both brands are sharing discounts and promotions during the event as well.

The event will stream for free on Facebook and YouTube through StreamYard, but you can RSVP in advance to receive exclusive offers and notifications ahead of time. Check out all the official rules, and be sure to break out your chef’s hat, apron, and Spanish dictionary ahead of time so you’re prepared and ready to dive right in.
