Life feels pretty flipped, turned upside down right now. But there is good news for “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” fans. In celebration of the popular show’s 30th anniversary, Will Smith has teamed up with Airbnb to allow fans to rent the iconic Los Angeles mansion for five days. The Banks family’s home first appeared on our screens in 1990 when Will Smith moved in with his aunt, who resided in the prominent Los Angeles neighborhood.

Nearly one week after announcing the reunion special, airing on HBO Max this Thanksgiving, Smith Instagrammed a photo of himself and DJ Jazzy Jeff—who played character Jazz—captioned, “YOOOO!! Y’all think we should rent out the @freshprince house?? We’re making it happen with the squad at @airbnb!! #FreshPrince30th”.

Smith partnered with the owners of the mega property to curate an experience that embodies the character he created 30 years ago. Mashing up his Philadelphia roots and the upper-echelon of vibes Bel-Air, the home will feature “bold graffiti art, posh interiors, timeless family portraits, and Philly cheesesteaks served on silver platters.” Guests can book one-night stays on October 2, 5, 8, 11, and 14 for only $30 per night.

Accommodations will be arranged in Smith’s wing, granting access to his bedroom, bathroom, dining room, and pool, plus a wardrobe reminiscent of his in 1992—a cross between preppy and street style.

Due to COVID-19, one-night reservations are only available to Los Angeles County residents who currently live in the same house. Those who meet the booking criteria can request to book starting September 29 at 11 a.m. PT.

For those who aren’t in LA, DJ Jazzy Jeff will be hosting an Airbnb Online Experience on October 1. Guests will get to spend some time with him in his home studio (virtually of course) and learn how to spin and scratch.
