Mirrors do so much with so little: a flat plane of glass increases light, adds the illusion of more space, and provides intriguing reflections and perspectives. And that’s just a plain mirror—add flowers, wires, starbursts, and lights, and you’ve got something really special. The only problem is, these room heavy hitters can pack both a decorative and budget punch, so to ease the search for a wallet-friendly find, we picked our 10 favorites under $100.

STOCKHOLM Mirror at IKEA, $99.99

I adore walnut veneer, and I appreciate a mirror that provides its own “shelf where you can put your make-up, mobile phone or wallet.” Thanks, mirror!

Croft Copper Mirror at CB2, $99.95

If copper is no longer hot, I don’t want to know about it. This mirror exudes a warm glow, and though it’s only received three reviews so far, they’re all five stars.

Circle Mirror Sconce at Urban Outfitters, $79

Need a little light by which to gaze upon yourself? Don’t want to see the left half of your face? This little sculptural piece is for you.

PS 2014 Mirror at IKEA, $39.99

Why am I so obsessed with this mirror and its color scheme? I want to build a bathroom around it and buy nail polish in all of these colors.

Safavieh Onile Mirror at Target, $43.39

This delicate yet dramatic take on a sunburst mirror will allow you to see what you would look like if you were a sunflower. It only has two reviews, but they’re both five stars.

Umbra Prisma Wall Mirror at AllModern, $100

Speaking of delicate! I’m seeing these wire-adorned mirrors everywhere, but this particular one is my favorite—and I’m not alone, as all the reviews are five stars. Also available in black.

Hip Vintage Gold Capri Mirror at Overstock.com, $40.94

Bear with me here: this mirror certainly won’t allow you to check out your whole outfit, or even your whole face, but it will provide a bit of magic to your home, a tiny porthole to another world. This highly unnecessary mirror is also available in silver.

Floral Crown Wall Mirror at Land of Nod, $79

Perfect for those times when you can’t wear a floral crown to work, but imagining that you’re wearing one will definitely help you through the day.

Wooden Storage Mirror at Target, $41.99

Getting back to practical matters, this mirror can stand freely or hang on the wall, and you can toss your negligees on the bars on the back, Miss Fisher-style.

This mirror combines beads and geometric shapes and somehow comes off as a touch modern and a touch traditional.
