From Road To Home: Rubbish's Recycled Rubber Sink

A visit to a Pick-A-Part junkyard reveals an astonishing graveyard of old cars, begging to find a second life by donating their pieces. Now Minarc, an architecture firm in Santa Monica, known for its innovative and sustainable design, has answered that call.

Minarc has designed a sink made from old rubber tires. The tires are melted down and stretched into a sheet that is attached to a frame and anchored down by a drain collar, creating a shallow basin. For more information, click here.
