While displaying x-rays might seem a little macabre to some, there's something oddly beautiful about this lampshade made from one. Designed as part of a school project, we think there is some real DIY potential here for anyone with old films piling up from broken bones and knee surgeries.

Sture Pallarp is a graphic design student living in Stockholm where he designed this lamp shade in conjunction with fellow students Elin Hedlund and Emmelie Karlström.

What are your thoughts? Would you put your humerus, pelvis or patella on display?
