As a Professional Organizer, this DIY closet made me swoon. Not only is it super organized--it's affordable. You'll want to click through to see the transformation from a wall of organized goodness to a DIY closet (I almost think its a shame to cover it all up).
Clara wittily names the craft/work/guest room her "Swiss Army Room" because of the multi-functional nature of the space. Because her work area already lives in the rooms built-in closet, she had to think outside the box to create more storage. So with a mere budget of $50 (fifty dollars)! Clara got to work.
Originally, the wall was created to house craft supplies, sewing materials and a place for guests to hang their clothes. But as time went on, the wall became home to more stuff (which began to visually be overwhelming for the space). With a minimal amount of her budget left, Clara used plywood to create the top shelf and found some oak wood lying around which created the trim of the closet. After waiting patiently for affordable white fabric to surface on eBay, Clara scored her "closet doors."
You can read more about Clara's amazing closet transformation on her blog--where her narration is just as satisfying as her DIY prowess.
