With the warm weather finally rolling in, and with summer right around the corner, its time to start planning those weekend get togethers. Whether with family or friends, backyard grilling is a favorite past time of many. It provides a great opportunity to socialize over delicious food and drink. That is unless you are the host, in which case you will be running around making sure everything is perfect. This year, try helping yourself out with a little outdoor tech gadgetry.

While this nifty little device is great for any grill, it is especially great for those that love using a good old charcoal grill with no temperature gage. With a nice LCD screen, and laser accurate aim, this little gizmo will help make sure you are always grilling at the optimal temperature.

Wireless Thermometer
Once you have your grill at the prime temperature, its time to through on your favorite meat. Since you have likely been marinating it for a few days in your secret sauce, you don't want to risk burning and over cooking. Instead of tediously standing over the grill waiting, why not use an Oregon Scientific Wireless Thermometer. Put the probe into what ever you are grilling up, hang onto the wireless thermometer, and all you have to do is wait for it to let you now its time to check the grill.

Automatic Hot Dog Roller
Maybe this isn't something you will use everyday, but if you are a hot dog lover then the Automatic Hot Dog Roller is just what you have been waiting for. This bad boy will keep your dogs rolling so that they cook evenly and don't burn. No more need to head to the ballpark for the perfect hot dog, instead everyone will be heading to your backyard.

Luma Tongs With Grab Light
When you really get the grill going, nothing should hold you back from delicious food, not even lack of light. In case ambient lighting is scarce, check out these Luma Tongs. The built in light will ensure that you have enough light to make a precise 1/4 turn to ensure perfect grill marks on all of your meat.

The Smoking Gun
While a corny name for a movie title, this kitchen must have is the perfect companion for those who prefer the indoor kitchen to the grill, but still want that smokey taste. With The Smoking Gun those who don't have the patience to labor over a smokey pit for hours don't have to. Load up your favorite flavor such as applewood or hickory, enclose the meat in a concealed area, and use The Smoking Gun to add that summery smoked taste to your dish.
