If you've always loved their cookies, now you can indulge your sweet tooth knowing there's a new badge that scouts can earn called, "Going Green, One Step at a Time."

(And for your dessert pleasure, click through for a link to something called "the cookie locater.")

The state of Connecticut has a new interest patch available to girl scouts throughout the country, from ages 11-17, that aims to teach girls about the environment.

In order to earn the patch, girls must complete a service component, like volunteering at a recycling center or using metal water bottles on a hike instead of plastic.

Oh and for all you cookie lovers, we've also found an amazing feature that lets you see where and when the treats will be sold near you at Cookie locater.
