We know many of you aren't big fans of gliders, but recover them with a funky fabric and you've got something that fits your decor/style better. This is a great tip from Jen if you happen to have one or get one secondhand...glider slipcovers from Luxe Basics.

We've blogged about baby quilt kits from Ticche and Bea before. Well, Luxe Basics grew out of Ticche and Bea:

"We wanted to 'fill in the gaps' with luxury products that our customers needed, but were either hard to find or way too expensive," the owners say on their website.

The glider covers are available here along with a number of other products including changing pad covers and monogram pillows.

Jen told us her slip cover was a non-standard color because she wanted some "extra razzle-dazzle" in her child's room. "I live in Chicago, where LuxeBasics is located, and I asked if I could stop by their workshop to look at their fabric options. They had an extra bolt of the bright blue fabric in their workshop which was exactly what I was looking for."

We think the glider slipcover is a great idea though certainly not for everyone and not cheap either. A few more patterns would be nice too.
