Good Luck Garden Dessert Plates

The thought of hanging plates used to seem a little "old lady" to us, but we're starting to come around to the idea. Not only have we seen some beautiful, modern ways to display them, but we've also found some plates that we think deserve a more grand display than say, laying underneath a pile of food.

The fact is, sometimes we need something for our walls that works with the colors of the room, but we don't like buying art just to match our decor, you know? In such cases we think plates (or any other collectible item) are a great alternative. This cute dessert set features four different types of flower - lily, marigold, chrysanthemum and peony - and costs just $12 a piece. Add a plate hanger and you've got a pretty piece of wall decor for under $20. And doesn't the green of the plates look great against that deep teal wall?
