Dear AT LA,
I have some great old lamps that belonged to my Grandmother, but they are kind of haggard and the cords and plugs need some help. Is this something that is easy to do on my own? I'm not the best at fixing things, but have put in some dimmers so I'm not completely helpless with things electric. Any ideas?
We have to say that our favorite place is a bit of a trek but well worth it. Practical Props in Burbank is the best repair shop we know. They can replace your old cords with new, and even cool old-school cloth ones. Defiantly worth check out.
Good luck! – Alec
