Good Questions: Great Sleeper Sofa?

Good Questions: Great Sleeper Sofa?

Dear AT...I have recently signed the lease on a glorified walk-in closet. It's a 275 sq-ft studio. THERE IS NO SLEEPING LOFT, but the ceilings are about 20' high, as are the windows, which make the space incredibly bright. Beyond not knowing to do with the funky layout is this: I need to know where to get a good sleeper sofa. Yes, Ikea and Jennifer Convertibles sell the, but have you SEEN them? Yuck! Montauk has some chic ones, but at 86" Long, I think it would dwarf my space. Does anyone know where I can get a great sleeper sofa? - Tabitha

Congrats on the new place. The 20' foot ceilings and windows sound amazing. Hope you'll send in photos once you are settled!

Two suggestions to kick things off:

Queen Size: Pietro Arosio's Sliding Sofa. It comes in four colors, red, beige, green and gray. Pluses: the look is compact but the bed size is generous, it's got quality (Italian) construction and the upholstery is completely removable for cleaning.

Full Size: We like the Preston 63" Armless sleeper sofa from Room and Board. Pluses: It's a super simple, Ultra compact piece that will fit in most anywhere, size and style-wise. The teeter fabric that it comes in is really nice and textural and the colors are great (especially the pumpkin).

Ok, we're opening this one up...please give Tabitha your ideas, feedback and suggestions for great sleeper sofas...
