Balancing Color from a Dominant Chair?

Q: My boyfriend and I just bought the most beautiful chair from The Divine Chair Company. She arrived with the name Sasha (cause she is so sexy), and we have been referring to her as such ever since we laid eyes on her. The problem now is that she is the focal point and only piece of color we have in the room. Can you please advise on what color we should paint the walls and how we can best work with her accent colors to make the room truly unique? Thanks!

Editor: Wow — this chair alone might qualify as a finalist in our Color Contest! Because you have very little color (neutral everything and even black and white photography as artwork), the chair pops TOO much. The pillows on the sofa are competing with the chair (and losing). While painting the walls COULD help your situation, it could also quite easily lead to the rest of the room looking even more out of place. Start small — add some pillows to the sofa that better complement the chairs colors. You could replace the photo on the wall with something more colorful OR you could attempt to find a colorful piece of a similar size and hand it adjacent, like a forced diptych. Who else has suggestions for Abra?
