Good Questions: Leather Pouf

Good Questions: Leather Pouf

Jessica sent us this picture and said: I was flipping through one of Kelly Wearstler's books at the book store and came across her rather grand nursery for her son. What caught my eye were these leather poufs. I love the idea of having one or two in the nursery or playroom. Any ideas where I can find an affordably replaced non-bean bag looking alternative?

Thanks, Jessica

Dear Jessica:

Having poufs or ottomans in the nursery or playroom is a fun idea, especially if your kid(s) are older. The ones that appear in the pic you sent seem to be these, so we understand you want something a bit less pricey.

We love the design of Zid Zid Kids' embroidered leather Poofs pictured here for $150 in silver or white leather. They also come in a less expensive cotton flannel version. Another option if you're not wedded to leather is the P'kolino Play ottoman. It comes in a bunch of colors and doubles as storage. None of the options are slouchy or beanbag-y.

Does anyone else have a recommendation or a review of the above for Jessica?
