Q: The epic snow we recently got in Chicago has been tons of fun for my kids, but we are experiencing major wet-mitten-storage problems. Can you help me find a way to hang mittens up to dry that is neat, attractive, and effective? Our current pile-and-drape system (shown above) isn't really working for me. You'll see there are not only mittens, but also some babylegs -- great for layering over mittens to keep the snow out!

Editor: When I was a kid we put our hats and mittens over a radiator. Now I'm more likely to put my son's wet stuff on the ledge of the bathtub, so clearly I'm no expert in this area! Two possibly weird thoughts did occur to me: plastic bag dryers and, for your babylegs, pants hangers. Readers, where do you put wet mittens, hats, scarves, babylegs, et al.?
