Dear Babymomma,

An air purifier is a great idea. We keep reading how the air inside our homes is often even more polluted than the air outside. We splurged last year and purchased the BlueAir 402 Air Purifier with HEPA. Looks like they're having a special on refurbished models right now. We've been very happy with ours. It's incredibly quiet, only uses as much electricity as a light bulb, and at least we feel like the air is cleaner.

Steer clear of uv air purifiers that emit ozone- these are unsafe.

You might also be interested in the BlueAir AirPod. It's super compact, portable, and comes in great designs. But we'd only go with this if your nursery is very small as well.

Finally, we recently saw this Crystal Breeze 3-in-1 air purifier. This one might also be worth checking into.

Allergy Buyers Club is a great place to read reviews and actually where we bought ours. You can also check on the clean air delivery rate of different air purifiers right here.
