Good Questions: Lightweight Jogging Stroller

Stephanie needs to replace a stolen jogging stroller. Dear AT: Here's my dilemma: We used to have a Q-series baby jogger stroller and I used it everyday. Recently it was stolen from our apartment building, though. It was heavy and too hard for me to carry up and down the four flights of stairs with a 6-month old in my arms so I left it in the vestibule area where other people in our building leave their strollers. Now, bummer, we have to purchase a new one.

I have learned my lesson and this time I'd like to pick a jogging stroller that's lightweight and easy to collapse so that I can get it up to our apartment on the fourth floor. All of the websites that I've looked at don't always list the weight of the stroller but, instead, how much weight it can hold! Help!

Stephanie, it sounds like you don't need a jog after carrying your baby and stroller up and down four flights of stairs! While we don't have first-hand experience with jogging strollers, we can point you toward a website that specifies stroller weight: JoggingStroller. Under the specifications of each stroller you can see both the stroller's weight and the maximum capacity weight. We also love that the site has plenty of parent reviews to read.

Readers - do you have a jogging stroller that you love? Is it lightweight? Let Stephanie know in the comments.
