This Weekend: Must-Do Maintenance To Make Your Home Feel Fresh
Although it doesn’t take up space, this unwelcome guest still weighs your entire household down. Getting rid of it completely is almost impossible, but if you strap on your meditative mindset and get to work this weekend —for however long you’ve got — your home will truly feel, and actually be, a whole lot cleaner, without question.
This Weekend’s Assignment: Grab your cleaning tool kit and dust all the flat surfaces both at, and above, eye level.
Do the Obvious and Hard-to-Clean Spots: It’s summer and dirt, pollen, and insects are coming through every one of your home’s open doors and windows. Unless you’re an Amazon, you probably neglect some trouble spots that are up high and out of reach. And there are always those knickknacks with tons of crevices. In addition to the side tables and window sills, find all the places where dust lingers and take care of it quickly and efficiently.

Discourage Future Dust: Certain conditions make dusting more frequent and time-consuming than it has to be. Make a few adjustments to your home habits, and you’ll reduce the number of times you absolutely have to clean.
