Grandma's Partyware Becomes Your Next Pendant Light

When hitting up thrift stores and garage sales, there are always a few sad pieces guaranteed to stay on the shelf forever. With the knowledge that we have now about BPA, most vintage plastic tupperware is staying right where it is, but who said it had to be reused for food? Why not lighting?

Over at Etsy (where else?) you can find store owner BootsNGus who specializes in lighting, photography and all things vintage. The shop is packed with tupperware pieces and canning jars that have been flipped into pendant lights (there's even a few that hang on the wall made from bundt pans!).

It's quirky, but a few of them could be neat in the bedroom or good for renters who aren't looking to hardwire anything. It's especially up the alley of those looking to support the recycling of goods and a handmade artisan at the same time.

Check out all the lighting options available at the BootsNGus store, there's almost 100 options ranging between $20 and $100 depending on the piece.
