LED lamps are quickly becoming desired in any type of lighting. They started out as a curiosity and will soon become standard, although CLF lamps are still going strong. It all depends on the type of lighting you enjoy. LEDs also consume a lot less power, so we've listed some of our favorites, from designer to DIY lamps.

1. Z-Bar High Power Desk Lamp
On top of looking good, this lamp has three articulated joints. There are a total of 66 LED lights on it and it uses only 8.8 W.

2. T'Light Gadget-Charging Light
This LED table lamp has been combined with a gadget charger. That's definitely a smart idea.

3. Make Your Own LED Lamp
Instead of buying an LED lamp, you can just make your own. This is definitely an interesting concept, because of all of the cheap LED lighting out there.

5. Atan Lamp Inspired By Avatar
This interesting lamp was inspired by the James Cameron 3D movie Avatar. While we're unsure if this lamp will get made, it is unique.
