I’m all for encouraging creativity but when my kids ask for glitter, I break into a cold sweat. Those holes in the tops of the glitter containers are always so big and I end up vacuuming, sweeping and mopping for days to clean it all up.

To minimize (not eliminate) the mess that comes with young ones using glitter, think kitchen product. The common shaker can be a lifesaver here. The holes are the perfect size – rather than globs of glitter you get nice sprinkles leaving you less mess to clean up. These personalized salt and pepper shakers are cheap and easy to organize.
