Green Ring

Green Ring

It would be nice to know what the air quality in our home is &mdash it's actually really important. If you have good air quality, your quality of life increases. There are air quality monitors on the market now, but they aren't as fancy and pretty as this one.

The Green Ring is a concept designed by Park Jun Seok and Kwon Hye Rim. The Green Ring monitors the air quality in your house and alerts you by illuminating lights. The lights are not always on, so it's sure not to waste energy in the process.

There's a small string (branch) hanging on the side of the ring. To check the air quality in your home, you pull the string. The energy used from pulling the string powers the device and the lights illuminate &mdash giving you the air readings. Green light means everything is a-okay, while red means there's a problem with the quality.

The Green Ring is made from recycled materials to ensure no excess pollution or destruction of the earths elements. While this is just a concept, we could see this being used in homes. We're just fearful that it would set us back way more than we'd want to spend.
