We really loved the post Beth wrote over on AT:LA today, and wanted to show it to you all. In honor of Entertaining month on Re-Nest, here's a little inspiration: take cuttings from plants, pine cones and other woodsy finds to make a beautiful tablescape.
"Glass jars get a second life as containers for rocks and twigs and dried leaves. Twine wrapped around the jars gives them texture and a natural feeling that keeps the look cohesive....reuse burlap sacs as table runners by cutting them down the middle. Mats made of cork serve as the tables placemats lending to the eco-friendly vibe. Instead of going out and buying woodslice coasters... make them herself (awesome). A simple but clever idea, seat assignments for guests are indicated by a pear with their name tag attached."
