Green Style: Salvaged Double-Insulated Glass Panel Facade

The “low-cost, high-impact tour de force” of this San Francisco home is its facade, which is constructed from salvaged double-insulated window glass panels arranged shingle-style (so they overlap). The owner, Zoee Astrakhanm, says that it never fails to grab people’s attention as they walk by because “the angled panes are quite reflective so even though people can’t look in, the texture attracts them” [Via Dwell]
