Greening the Closet: What About Eco-Friendly PJs?

01_14_09_pajamas1.jpgSince we're on the topic, we're wondering... How far does your green self go when it comes to clothing?

Over the summer, we happened upon a great sale on skirts, pants, and shirts made from organic cotton and recycled plastic bottles. And now we're thinking of getting some new pajamas and it worth the effort to purchase organic sleepwear?

We know the answer should be "yes," but...

The more eco-friendly the pajama, the less budget-friendly it seems to be. So we're torn. Maybe a trip to Goodwill is in order for some soft old t-shirts and shorts. We're not the type for night gowns and house coats, but it's nice to have something comfy and cozy to slip on after a long day of work--here in the winter it's been the BF's college sweatshirt and yoga pants.

What do you think? Is organic sleepwear worth the cost? We did find some really cute stuff out there on Etsy. So here we are, torn. Help!
