Setting up a home office for more than one person can be a challenge, especially when it comes down to desk real estate. Setting up one can be easy, but it's finding the right space for the second that can be an issue. We found this Swedish setup pretty amazing, thanks to its long, hacked desk that takes care of all of the problems.

This home office is located in Marvelgulp's beautiful home in Sweden. His most recent addition to his home office setup is the 27-inch Apple LED Cinema Display that is used for his 12-core Mac Pro. Yowza! The other workstation includes an iMac 24, and there's plenty of room left over for another station for a laptop. The featured item in this home office is the desk, which is made out of black MDF.

This desk is 16.4 feet long! The desk was custom built and has a special hollow groove for cable management. This solution is very simply, yet elegant and keeps all of these cables away. From what we can tell, this home office solution worked very well for Marvelgulp, as he has barely changed it in a few years.

The office chairs are by Marten van Severen. The lamps are Liftos by Belux. The USM Haller storage unit is used to house the color laser printer, hard drives and UPS. The sound is taken care of Harman Kardon's SoundSticks. There's an Epson Scanner hidden away, as well as the previously mentioned computers.

The floor is made out of black pigmented concrete with water heating, and the walls and ceiling are made out of oriented strand board to give it that nice rustic feel. OSB is uniform and cheaper than plywood. It has replaced plywood in many corporate environments. It's most commonly used as sheathing in walls, floors, and roofs. All in all, a great setup in a beautiful home.
