We don't think life on the frontier was ever intended to be this stylish. Woodworker extraordinaire Jim Toplin built an artisan wagon modeled after a 19th century English vardo, and now the owners of this exquisite, cozy camper known as the Trillium Caravan have put it up for sale for $64,900 after 10 years of calling it a home away from home.

Located in the upstate New York town of Trumansburg, the residence-on-wheels is stealthy enough for life on the road yet simultaneously suitable for glampers in search of a luxury camping escape. The wall and roof of the hand-carved wagon were built with Sitka spruces; its sturdy steel undercarriage, battery-powered running lights and reflectors and electric braking system ensures that the wagon holds up safely on the highway.

A hand-carved split Dutch door highlighted with stained glass windows and hand-painted embellishments grants access to the interior. The sailcloth covering invites lots of natural light but there's also beautifully stained glass windows and electric interior lighting accentuated with repurposed wall sconces that help to illuminate the space.

A queen-size pull out bed comfortably sleeps two adults, plus there's ample space for a child to make a suitable snoozing spot on Trillium's durable bamboo floor. A table doubles as a desk or dining surface along with sufficient seating options that are covered in vintage silk Scalamandre fabrics from the 1920s. A restored wood and coal-burning stove supplies the heat, while a dry sink and mirror serve as a prime example of how to fit a vanity into a small space while still providing plenty of storage room for toiletries.

The Trillium is easily towed and travels without the top chimney section, and has successfully and safely logged plenty of miles.
