Harry James Potter, the Boy Who Lived, would be (or is) 39 today. So naturally, wizards, warlocks, and muggles alike are taking to Twitter to wish the beloved fictional character a very happy birthday.

On this, the day Harry Potter was born, all sorts of emotions are swirling around—happiness, gratitude, nostalgia, lightheartedness. One thing is for sure: there is an overwhelming positive response toward the magical boy’s birthday. Also, let’s not forget that today marks author J.K. Rowling’s and Neville Longbottom’s birthdays, too, making the day that more special in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
