There has been a moment in the life of every Harry Potter fan where they wished they could go to Hogwarts. Of course, not everyone wants to attend the wizarding school for the same reasons. Some people would just like an excuse to play Quidditch, others would want to attend solely so they could learn magical spells, while other fans would actually like to learn about wizarding world history. Whatever your reason might be, it is still something that sits at the top of your wish list.

Sadly, you’re going to have to continue waiting for your Hogwarts letter to come in the mail. (The closest you’ll come to attending Hogwarts is riding on The Forbidden Journey at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal. You can also check out a scaled model of the castle at the WB Tour in the UK, but it isn’t the same thing.)

Until we can all attend the school, you can at least pretend you’re exploring the hallowed halls of Hogwarts, thanks to Ambient-Mixer.com. The website allows people to listen to ambient sounds for background noise, where you can choose from their collection or even create your own sounds.

For Harry Potter fans, there’s a huge selection of sounds “from Hogwarts” to choose from; there is ambient noise from all four houses’ common rooms (Ravenclaw, Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff), the Hogwarts library, the Great Hall, the Hogwarts castle at night, tea at Hagrid’s, the Hogwarts grounds during summer, and more. You can even listen to the sound of Draco Malfoy napping (fair warning, he snores).

There are other sounds for Harry Potter fans to enjoy outside of Hogwarts. You can listen to a morning at the Burrow, A.K.A. the Weasley family home, or enjoy the liveliness of The Three Broomsticks and the sounds of Hogsmeade.

Using Ambient-Mixer’s tools, you can also adjust all of the sounds, either by cutting out certain ambient noises that aren’t relaxing, or by making some louder. Accio, perfect work soundtrack—we’ve been listening to the Gryffindor common room for the last 40 minutes.
