Last year’s Harry Potter Valentine’s Day card was cool, but this dinner sounds like it just might work better than a love potion. The convening of romance-seeking Potterheads takes place on Friday, February 9 and Saturday, February 10. Other than the dining area’s famous enchanted ceiling, the mouth-watering candle-lit dinner menu sounds like the brightest star of the evening.
According to Delish:
To start, guests can choose from a pressed chicken terrine or a fig, rosemary and goat’s cheese tart. This will be followed by a roast rack of lamb with all the trimmings or a ricotta gnocchi served with chive butter and crispy kale. And for a sweet treat, the sharing plate of desserts will include a mango and passion fruit delice and a raspberry and amaretto tart.
After guests have consumed their share of fantastical fare, they can officially document their night with a complimentary photo that will be snapped at the table. In addition to the meal – and what has to be one of the most magical Valentine’s experiences a Potterhead could ask for – guests will also be treated to a tour of famous scenes from the Harry Potter films, including the Forbidden Forest, the Weasley’s fittingly jumbled kitchen at The Burrow, Dumbledore’s office and the Gryffindor common room.
You might have to summon tickets using an Accio spell, because sadly, it’s sold out. The seats disappeared quickly, despite being £495 ($662) for a table of two.
