As a strong supporter of all things ruffled, gingham, and pastel, designer Heather Taylor hits on my dream trifecta. The creator, loved by celebs (she’s a fave of Jessica Alba’s), boasts an eponymous textile brand, Heather Taylor Home, with a colorful collection of patterned bedding, blankets, napkins, table runners, and the like. Basically, she’s a pro at putting California-cool twists on the classics (plaid! stripes! gingham!) and making everyday essentials look straight out of the English countryside (#cottagecore).

Taylor’s pieces have topped my wishlist for months, but admittedly fall a bit out of my budget. That’s why I could not keep my cool when I heard about her West Elm collaboration, which just launched today. Priced slightly lower than her norm (starting at just $24.50!), the exclusive collection includes over 100 products in some of the L.A.-based designer’s warm-hued signature prints, plus a few must-see newcomers (hello, floor-to-ceiling pattern play). There’s something for every room, from shower curtains and placemats to duvet covers and fitted crib sheets. Gear up for pretty post-pandemic outdoor entertaining, too, with a hammock, picnic basket, and printed cushions.

Really, you can’t go wrong with any piece, especially since they’re all intended to inject more fun into the everyday — something everyone could use a bit more of anyway, right?

A gingham and ruffle pairing makes for the ultimate charming-meets-cozy vibe. Perfect to cuddle up to and handmade by artisans in India, this classic cover is the best year-round pop of color for your bed or sofa. Not to mention, it screams cottage chic.

One of my favorite non-patterned pieces from the launch, this timeless mat has all the dainty details — scalloped trim, quilting, and a neutral tone fit to dress up any bathroom floor. Bonus: It's also Global Organic Textile Standard-certified.

For even more of the cottagecore allure, swap your bedding for a sweetly striped duvet cover and matching shams. A ruffled border adds the finishing touch to this set, made from 100 percent European flax. You can also buy linen sheets in the same print — because the more soft blue stripes in the bedroom, the dreamier (pun intended).

Dress up every dinner (yes, even takeout) from the dining room to the backyard picnic table. This cotton runner comes in three other patterns, as well — red or green gingham, along with a muted plaid. And for the full look, check out the matching napkins.

Although one of the pricier items in the collection, this area rug (also available in two larger sizes or a $100 runner) has your space covered when it comes to gorgeous modern minimalism. It’s not all looks, either — count on durable, shed-resistant cotton, too.

As you ease back into hosting, there’s no harm in stocking up on extra seating — especially when it’s as cute as this. With three other color combos, you can grab a few to mix and match in the living room or even the patio. They’re also the ideal size to add to a playroom or bedroom for your little ones.

Stay picnic-ready all summer with the most stylish way to stash your food and drinks, patterned liner and all. Pro tip: Pack a few of the cushions to lounge on, as well, and you'll be the envy of everyone in the park.

If you’re not lounging in a hammock this summer, you’re doing outdoor relaxing all wrong (although this one’s indoor-friendly, too!). I love the delicate handwoven extensions and the fact that this fits more Heather Taylor Home pillows. Trust me, you deserve this.
