Square Feet:
What I Love About My Small Home:
For me this is my first non-share, non-studio home...so 515 sq ft is HUGE for me. I love that I can work, live and entertain comfortably. Working from home can be a challenge, but my teeny atelier can easily be converted from work space to dinner party ready in a few minutes.

And my pocket sky line view never ceases to make me happy!
Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space:
One challenge was staying within a strict $1000 budget. Moving from a 200 sq ft studio to a larger space required substantially more furniture. There was a lot of trial and error, but I managed to buy, trade and find all my furniture (minus my bed!), and stay within my budget with money to spare.

Also, living in a new construction building is a whole new experience. No moldings, no beautiful old architecture to do the work for me. So to create a space that feels lived-in, I blended my love for mid-century with rusty, old and rickety to create a home that feels just right.
