Hammocks are often associated with vacations and relaxing outdoors, but that doesn't always have to be the case. If you really love lounging in a hammock don't wait until your annual vacation to do so. There's nothing wrong with installing one right in your own living room!

Don't be afraid to take a chance and do things a little differently. Sure, it's slightly out of the ordinary, but if you'd rather lounge on a hammock than your couch — so be it! Pick an interesting fabric to make a statement in the room. If the color palette is muted, pick a bright fabric to add a pop of color and some serious interest.

Hang a hammock near a large window in your home to mimic that relaxing and calming vibe from vacations or just pick a secluded corner in the house that's a chill zone. Would you hang a hammock in your home?
