We are about to redo our Kitchen (upstate New York) and while we want to maintain the integrity of its 100 year old country style we are not wanting to break the bank. We are wondering about soapstone as a counter top? We love the soapstone sinks for sure, but want to know if anyone has had experience with using the material on the counter top. This will be a very used kitchen so things like livability and longevity are important… in other words, we don't want it to look like crap in two years!
Thanks, Robin and John
Link To All Good Questions
Hey guys- Google has a bunch of people talking about the pros of soapstone but they seem to be the suppliers as well, so go figure. AT had a similar question that you can link to HERE. We have an instinct that soapstone is best for less traffic-y areas like a stunning soaking tub, or a beautiful guest bath sink, but we admit to not knowing so we will put it out to the community at large.
Anyone have help for Robin and John?
