Located in Center City, Philadelphia, Hello Home is one of those rare finds in the retail world - a boutique with a diverse, well-edited assortment of furniture and home accessories. The rare part? This stylish assortment is also extremely affordable. Hello Home is a place where passion and enthusiasm for design is evident in the merchandise, the ambience and the shop owner himself.

James Lamancuso is my favorite kind of store owner - down-to-earth, knowledgeable and always willing to share a tip. The son of an antiques dealer, and a Buffalo native, Lamancuso has a background in fine arts and textile design - a foundation that served him well in his early career as an interior designer, and today, as a small business owner. J, as he's known, loves the level of personal interaction that a boutique environment affords. What started as a store focused primarily on vintage mid-century modern furniture, has become an eclectic home furnishings boutique geared towards small-space, urban living. Sure, you'll still find the great vintage pieces Lamancuso is famous for, but now you'll also find modern reproductions, custom upholstery pieces, pillows, lighting, kitchen and bath accessories. In short - everything you've wanted, but never knew you needed.
