Help Me Choose a Paint Color for My Boring Bedroom
I’m a little embarrassed to show this here, but welcome to my super plain-Jane, boring, blah bedroom, AKA the last room in the house to receive any TLC. We’ve fixed up the bones of the room since we moved in – we removed a huge behemoth of a radiator, ripped out old dingy carpet, and added new hardwood floors, but we have done close to zilch as far as decorating. That’s where you come in…
Right now our bedroom is basically a big old white box. I’ve wanted to tackle the space for a while now, but I’ve been having trouble deciding which direction to go with the room. I’d love to spice things up a little with a bold paint color, while still maintaining the light and airy feeling. Sooo… I’ve decided to come to you guys for some help with determining the direction that I should take.
I virtually “painted” the room using the Sherwin-Williams ColorSnap® Visualizer for web – an easy (and fun!) online tool that let’s you upload a photo of your room, and virtually paint it different colors, so your room can try on different shades before a brush even hits the wall. Using the ColorSnap® Visualizer, I’ve come up with five very different, very bold colors for the space, but I need you to help me decide which one to choose!
Here are the contenders:
1. Dark Night – SW 6237
2. Restful – SW 6458
3. Rookwood Sash Green – SW 2810
4. Majestic Purple – SW 6545
5. Coral Reef – SW 6606
I’d say whichever way I go, the room certainly isn’t going to be plain-Jane any longer! The Sherwin-Williams ColorSnap® Visualizer for web was a huge help, but I’d love to hear your thoughts – which would you choose? Thanks so much for all of your help! Stay tuned for my big ‘Before + After’ reveal!
