5 Helpful Tools for Computing Outdoors

Vacationing in Orlando, visiting my parents is proving to be pretty difficult for keeping up with my writing. I'm sitting in the living room right now, longingly gazing at the bright sunny day just outside of the sliding glass door. Unfortunately for me, I've already ran into a few obstacles earlier this morning that sent me to spend my day inside.

The first obstacle I ran into was old, uncomfortable patio furniture (sorry mom!). When writing for a living, it's important to be comfortable while you're working, otherwise you're just distracted. I could overlook that, considering I only needed to work for about an hour, then the second hurtle presented itself. My battery was about to die.

I haven't lived at my parents house in almost 10 years and I visit about once per year &mdash finding an extension cord was proving to be impossible. I had no choice but to move back inside and plug my laptop into the charger.

For the rest of the day I've been sitting inside wondering what I can do to prevent those problems from reoccuring and all of the other problems that have presented themselves over the years when I've tried to soak up the sun while getting work done. I've found some solutions for common problems:

&bull Command Sit: Stackable Keyboard Outdoor Seating
&bull Elecom's Laptop Power Cord Extension Outlet
&bull Laptop Lilo: A Cool New Way To Keep Your Laptop Cool
&bull Meraki Outdoor WiFi Repeater
&bull Our Little White Sofa: Perfect For Lounging With Your Laptop
