HGTV’s “Holiday Crafters Gone Wild” Will Give You Plenty of Festive DIY Ideas for Home
If you’re looking for the holiday crafting version of “The Great British Bakeoff”—super specific but needed during this strange year—then you’ll want to tune in for HGTV’s “Holiday Crafters Gone Wild.”
Airing Friday, Nov. 20, the two-hour special is a crafting competition that follows four teams across various holiday DIY challenges. From tablescapes to tree toppers and Christmas tree designs, each timed project is judged by a panel of experts—designer Kim Myles and celebrity party planner Michael Russo—to decide who will be crowned Ultimate Holiday Craft Champion. Oh, and the $10,000 prize is a nice incentive, too.
TV personality Jay Manuel is the host the show, and as someone who designed his own home and watches home programming for inspiration, Manuel was excited to jump into the holiday crafting competition—and he wasn’t disappointed by the talented crafters and the knowledgeable judges that came with it.
“The talent that came on this show, I was just in awe, and I learned so much,” Manuel said. “Going into this holiday, I’m using so much of what I learned from this talent in decorating my own home. I’m really excited about it because I think this year more than ever, we need that boost around our space and find something creative to do at home.”
If you tune in, odds are you’ll take away some great ideas and tips for your own holiday decorating. To watch “Holiday Crafters Gone Wild,” head over to HGTV at 9 p.m. ET on Friday, Nov. 20, and check out your local listings to see when it’s on next.
