There are situations, where a permanently displayed TV set, is not the best option; maybe because we have a nice piece of art where the TV is going to be, or maybe there is a window that we refuse to block the view or simply we created a room divider and you don't want to display the back of the set with all the cables and connectors. Thankfully there is help, in the form of motorized TV cabinets.

Lift and swing: Auton Motorized Systems.
Auton Lifts perfectly conceal a television in furniture, half wall or countertop. Great for use in a living room, family room, library, office, home theater, yacht, aircraft, university, conference room, RV, restaurant and more. Optional features includes a swivel base that operates 180° in both directions for comfortable viewing from any angle, adjusts television for different lighting conditions and seating arrangements, permits endless room configurations.

Compact design is ideal when space is at a premium, all controls are located within the cylindrical motor housing eliminating the need for an external box, it has an integrated RF receiver for remote control, just simply plug in the power cord. Also available is the wall track to hide the TV behind a piece of art.

What's under the bed?
Let's face it, from a design point of view, TVs do very little to enhance the look of a bedroom. Now, thanks to Activate Designs, the TV can be stored under the bed, utilizing otherwise unused space and, at the push of a button, the TV silently slides out from the foot of the bed and rises up to the perfect viewing position. All of this from a mechanism measuring only 9" tall, allowing it to fit under almost any bed.

There are two models. One with a 70 lb. capacity (UBL-70) and a heavy duty model with a 120 lb. capacity (UBL-120). A motorized swivel option can be added to either model. Shipped fully assembled, installation and set up can typically be completed in less than 30 minutes.

Disappearing Art.
The Sliding Art Frame. At the touch of a hand-held transmitter, this product lets you conceal and reveal a recessed TV behind your favorite painting. There are no exposed tracks or wiring. Pressing a button on the remote moves your original artwork to reveal your TV. This art lift can be configured to move up/down/left or right. Picture House offers a great TV solution for the home with a range of classical and modern designs for both Living Room and Bedroom. They take up less space than a normal TV stand and it means your TV doesn't dominate the room. They even match your existing furniture taste.
