At Unplggd we love talking about stylish stoves, and when we come across a stove that is stylish, efficient, and innovative, then the chatter increases all the more. Designer Fernando Silva has created one incredibly unique looking stove. The Hi-Fire stove was created with safety and ergonomics in mind.
Silva, seeking to create a stove that was better suited to the needs of different users, designed a stove that considered safety and ergonomics with each design step. We love the Hi-Fire's large transparent door, so that we can examine the food without opening the door again and again. We also love how the door opens in a horizontal position to facilitate the removal of heavy foods and slowly retracts neatly into the stove.
We are not sure how easy the stove top would be to clean, we can see splatter forming from pots on the stove that could cover one of our favorite features of this appliance, the glass window on the top of the door. We think the design is unique and we would quite like to see this stove in action. What do you think? Is the raised stove top practical?
