We love Thomas O'Brien's Hicks Pendant Light, and how it successfully straddles multiple styles in one fixture, making it versatile for a range of homes. We've seen it crop up in industrial, glamorous, modern and vintage-looking kitchens, looking like a new classic.

The large size retails for a little over $700 as seen here in bronze and antique brass, but is available in other finishes as well, from Circa Lighting.

Here's the fixture in action in the Las Vegas Home of MadeByGirl's Jen Ramos.

Murray Feiss designed a similar version, the Cadence, available from the Lighting Connection for $299 —that's less than half the price of the original. It has a matte black and antique brass finish, but comes in a polished nickel and brushed steel option too.

So, if you were in the market for a pendant light like these, which would you choose?
